When two become one
Or to be precise; when four become three. Monday night saw us perform for the first time as "Plan Nine Mark 2", it was exciting, scary and altogether unifying. Thanks to all who came to support us, we had a cracking time! The show was filmed and recorded and some videos should be up on t'Tube et al. within the next couple of weeks, showing off a bit of new material.

All good things must come to an end
Just to let you know...
For many reasons (we'll cite "musical differences" for now), it looks like Plan Nine will no longer be continuing with our friend, brother and drummer; Dave Jones.
For now, as we session some other players, we will continue as an acoustic trio for gig purposes until we find the right person, which will not be an easy task.
We'd like to thank everyone for their support over the years and here's to a bright future.

Emergency status - Level Red
So, Thursday, Saggie and Ben spend most of the night in A&E after Ben heroically tried to rescue someone from a fight and ended up with a socket missing a certain shoulder. Quite a bother, being a drummer and all. And it couldn't have come at a worse time for us as Monday we start our string of London shows, followed by us going off to record the new EP. Well, we're all a bit bummed, to say the least. But cancellation is not an option, so we have set about creating a new show to present at the gigs - it's not the theatrical power-volume spectacle we had Planned, but it'll still have the balls, for all to see. Through the thunderous medium of guitar acoustic we shall bring you rock and all the theatrics that go with it. It'll be different, a challenge, but ultimately still the greatest show you'll ever see. See you next week!

Exterminator Salvation
Will and I are currently living in a flat where moths rule over all and taunt us at every moment with their inability to fly in a straight line but canny ability to always pop up in the wrong place at the right time. So we've set about preparing some traps for the little blighters (I'm in two minds of this: Is it right to kill these furry little creatures? Is it not the same as hanging up a sticky piece of paper outside starbucks waiting for some poor soul to be attracted by the intoxicating aroma of coffee?) But I do have terrible images of a full hord of moths carry me out of my bed one night, slowly feasting on my soft flesh...

When will I feel the Wrath of Khan!!!!
Once again my head hangs heavy and my heart sinks low as events have conspired in such a way that myself (Woolsen) and Will (Vaughan) have not been able to see Wrath of Khan. When will I get to see the seminal film and complete my journey from geek to trekky???!!!?? Though some would say "the needs of the many outway the needs of the few" I would say I need some serious Khan-age soon!

Ballet of Success!
Sunday night's gig at our club night Ballet of Teeth at Tommy Flynn's in Camden can only be described as a success! We managed to pack out the venue on a Sunday night and the bar ran out of a lot of it's stock! We'd really like to thank all of you who turned up from the bottom of our hearts. The gig was a very important milestone for us, being our second show together and all, and we were overwhelmed with support shown for the new songs and my new PVC jumpsuit ;) Thank you all and see you at the next show! xVx
